Alice Orr
CME Manager
Alice Orr oversees TCOYD Continuing Medical Education programs, from applying for grant sponsorship, to maintaining accreditation and ensuring a seamless registration process. She also works with our physician faculty from all over the country to ensure a content rich and bias free learning environment, which allows primary care providers to obtain the knowledge of cutting edge treatment options and care strategies.
Born and raised in San Diego, two blocks from the Pacific Ocean, it's no wonder that Alice could swim before she learned to walk. She competed for USC and was a point scoring member of the Phillips 66 US National Championship team, and a scholarship recipient. In her spare time she worked with the USC student run Triathlon Club and the Swim with Mike Fundraiser for Students With Disabilities, which led her to see that she really enjoyed working organizing people behind worthy causes.
Alice manages TCOYD CME programs, in conjunction with the University of California at San Diego, to help primary care providers make an impact on the lives of their patients living with diabetes and approach their patients with better understanding and compassion.
