Laurie Tom, MD
Dr Tom is an Endocrinologist in private practice who specializes in treating people with diabetes. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Tom also serves on the National Board of Directors and the local Hawaiian Advisory Council of the Amercian Diabetes Association.

Viola Genadio
Viola Genadio, APRN, CDE, MSN, BC-ADM
Viola Genadio is a Certified Diabetes Educator and Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist for St. Francis Medical Center. She is a Past President of the Hawaii Association of Diabetes Educators and also served on the Regional Leadership Team for the American Diabetes Association, Pacific Northwest Region.

Jim Warne
JIM WARNE, MS
is a Native American, and is a member of the Oglala Lakota (Sioux) tribe. He has worn many professional hats, including professional football player, TV and movie actor, and Human Resources Development Specialist. Among Jim's favorite activities is speaking to groups about being well and living a good balanced life with diabetes.
