Do you think attending this conference will help you in your efforts to control your diabetes? How?

• I am encouraged to keep working at controlling my diabetes and more informed about possibilities.
• I am more determined to keep working on healthy eating and exercise.
• I see this as consciousness raising. It is so hard to stick with and follow through the regimen day after day, year after year. This information about new treatments is so motivating.
• Yes, it motivated me to watch what I eat & drink and encouraged me to do some exercise (walking).
• I now have the most up to date excellent information.
• While I don't have diabetes, I think it gave me more incentive for lifestyle changes. Both my parents had diabetes and this gave me the push to change my diet and exercise more.

  I learned what avenues I need to take to control my diabetes.
• It's good to know that diabetes is not the end of the world.

• I talked and met with people all in the same boat as me.
• I think the concept of "taking control of your diabetes" - instead of just being a passive victim is a very inspiring idea. Thank you for doing this program.

• Yes, I look forward to it every year. It resets my motivational level.
• Yes, because this conference showed me how serious an issue diabetes can be and to take control of it.

• Yes, you covered all aspects of the disease.
• Everyone with diabetes needs to be aware of what diabetes can do to them and how they can control it.
