Minneapolis 07 Reviews are In
Here is what participants of the May 19 TCOYD Conference in Minneapolis, MN had to say about their experience:
Loved the humor, good balance to a serious problem.
I so much appreciate the scholarship. I was given the opportunity to speak to so many professionals that I normally can't afford to see.
Wish I had known this info much sooner. I would have made very different choices.
The variety of topics and the caring investment of the people presenting far exceeded my expectations of what was going to happen on Saturday.
As a type 3 diabetic (spouse of PWD) my attending this conference opened the door for better communication at home.
It refreshes my resolve and improves my attitude.
It helped me by increasing my motivation to take the extra steps to improve my control over diabetes.
The exhibitors provided quality and relevant information to take control of my diabetes.
Helpful people at booths - not pushy - lots of info from knowledgeable people.
Pens, glucose monitoring and pump technology improvements are happening faster than I ever realized.
So great to see new products/meters...not just bound to the one the GP gave you.
Dr. Edelman and Dr. Polonsky really encouraged me about changes that I can make and how these changes can really help me to improve my health.
Everyone is so approachable and Dr. Edelman is wonderful and so inspirational.
Answered a lot of questions I hadn't even thought of before today.
Both Aida and Jeff were very positive, down to earth and approachable. Excellent.
TCOYD thanks the volunteers, speakers, faculty and vendors - and especially the participants for making this such a successful day!
