Nice Guys Support TCOYD
Earlier this year, San Diego-based
not-for-profit, Nice Guys,
presented Taking Control of Your
Diabetes with a check for $25,000
in recognition of the work TCOYD
does to bring information and
empowerment to people living with
diabetes. The funds are being used to
provide scholarships for people who
cannot afford to come to TCOYD's
national series of conferences.
160 philanthropic San Diegans
make up Nice Guys. Started in 1979,
the group raised an impressive
$500,000 in 2007 and gave back
100% of that amount to some
350 families and individuals in
need in San Diego County.
We are so appreciative of Nice
Guys' support and will continue to
encourage TCOYD's main themes
in all the work we do.
