The Reviews are in!
Here is what the participants from Santa Rosa had to say about the TCOYD Conference and Health Fair last weekend

Not enough time to do everything I wanted to do at this conference.

Thorough introduction to cutting edge developments - reminders and new ideas of what I need to be doing, thinking and planning.

I got lots of take home things from the health fair.

The conference encouraged me to approach my life with confidence.

Diabetic doctors know our challenges first hand.

Learned a lot about carbs.

Wonderful lunch.

Great to see new products, hear info and be re-motivated

These conferences are essential to good control.

The lunch was delicious and healthy - great!

I didn't know much about continuous glucose monitoring until today.

The small workshops were great and the Q&A were helpful.

Love the information and got a lot of questions answered.

This is like a giant support group meeting.

All these motivational speakers who also have diabetes are exceptionally helpful and energizing.

Vendors had latest and greatest products and were very friendly. A bit different from the usual business conference.

Excellent content and approachable faculty.

I'm excited about CGM.

Dr. Ingrid was excellent in the neuropathy session!

Great to bring folks with diabetes and their support givers together.

Good education - new, continuing and refreshed information.

Coming to TCOYD last year resulted in my husband's acquisition of a CGM. It has changed MY life!!

I would go again and again to learn about new advances during the last year.

I get practical information and encouragement which helps to control my diabetes.

The conference helped me accept and ask for insulin a couple years ago, and now I'm ready for when the time comes that I should use a pump & cgm.

I always learn something at TCOYD.

The foot screening cleared up my concerns about the condition of my feet.

You can never have too much info!

TCOYD motivates me to be more responsible of my health.

Very valuable info I can take to my next doctor appt. and speak with knowledge to my doc.

I'm going to look into Byetta.

I have been avoiding starting a night time insulin. Now I'm going to call my doc next week and get started.

Too many great workshops. I wanted to attend everything and didn't have time!

Great conference.

Great discussions with vendors in the health fair.

The podiatrist spent a good amount of time with me, examining my feet and offering input and suggestions to my foot issues.

Fabulous focus on empowerment, and extremely positive.

Very good information from the basics to more complicated aspects of the disease.

Gave me the determination to take control like I did when I was first diagnosed in 1999.

It's good to be encouraged and learn the latest developments in treatments, but mostly to be reminded that I'm not alone.

This conference will help me be more supportive of my type 1 husband.

TCOYD does so many things right every time!

Knowledge is power!

Thank you for having a delicious meal, so much information, acknowledging how emotionally difficult diabetes is.

The info at a TCOYD conference is better than a doctor visit.

I'm going to come down for the 100th conference in San Diego this year.

TCOYD infuses humor with teaching, and keeps everyone alert.

So much info and lots of new products coming out. TCOYD has it all in one place.

My A1c is 5.8, so I am doing really well - but this conference was GREAT! I learned a lot and being in a room with 600 other people with diabetes is such a boost! Thank you!

Such a great sense of humor.

I recommend this conference to friends because of the wealth of info on treatment options and finding support in community.

TCOYD provides more tools for my toolbox.

TCOYD helped me understand pumps, CGM's, and how a person can live a normal life.

Very helpful for a spouse to get a very good overview of diabetes challenges. This education will help me make better choices about my own life, and how we can make choices together.

Truly well designed to get information to each of us to meet our needs so we can help ourselves.

Can you guys come to San Francisco?

Excellent organization and quality of speakers.

Will help me keep focused and motivated

The people in the health fair were very accessible and welcoming.

TCOYD takes the fear out of testing blood sugar. I don't feel alone, and feel like I better understand my body.
